Point, Line, Plane and Volume.
These are the characters in the game and they are organized on a playing field.
These are the rules of the game:
Lines define space.
Points are defined at moments of intersection.
Spaces are organized by typology.
Spaces are organized by material.
The size of the space is dictated by its rerlationship to the spaces surrounding it.
The rotation of the space is dictated by its rerlationship to the spaces surrounding it.
'The height of the space is dictated by its rerlationship to the spaces surrounding it.
Height defines volume.
Volumes are organized by typology.
Volumes are organized by material.
The rotation of the volume is dictated by its reationship to the volumes surrounding it.
Moments of intersection define a shared space.
The shared space is the space of interest. In this example, the Afinity Space [shared space] is realized as a volumetric tree-like network that simultaneously seperates and connects unique moments of occupiable and programable space. It is the public object inside the many objects. Buildings exist as a collection of unique spaces "tapped" into the network of shared space.
